MEL GIBSON

We're guessing that Mel Gibson has lots of reasons to want to get away from it all lately, and luckily he's got just the place: Mago Island, a set in the La Group of islands in Fiji. The island, home to a former sugar plantation, is 8.4 square miles of solitude, though a few villagers and farmers do remain on the island. Gibson bought the island in 2005 for $15 million from the Toyku Corporation.
