Lindsay Lohan is currently locked up at the Lynwood Country Correctional Facility, but her lawyer is working overtime to get her out of jail. LiLo was denied bail at her probation hearing this morning, meaning she'll be locked up until October 22 -- unless the appeal her lawyer just filed is granted.

TMZ reports Shawn Campbell Holley had a special meeting with Judge Elden Fox today, and she just filed the legal papers to overturn the judge's ruling. Ms. Holley claims the judge must grant bail in the starlet's case because the charges are misdemeanors (LiLo recently failed two drug tests, violating her probation).
The California Court of Appeals will report back, and unless the ruling is overturned, LiLo will for sure be sitting in her cell for the full 30 days.
